The Arc offers a network of homes located throughout Carroll County where individuals with developmental disabilities live in the community and experience independence. Homes are located in neighborhood communities that provide an enriched living environment, opportunities for personal growth and inclusion in the community. Live-in staff roommates and drop-in staff provide support and assistance in meeting resident needs.
Community Supported Living Arrangements (CSLA) enable people with developmental disabilities to successfully live in the community. The support provided to the individual is tailored to his or her desires and personal goals. You choose where you live, who you live with, how staff will assist and who will provide that assistance.
Through Family and Individual Support Services (FISS), The Arc offers flexible, individualized assistance to people with developmental disabilities who are able to live on their own or with family. In-home assistance, respite care, assistance with leisure activities and transportation are provided.
