Arc Employees Graduate from Leadership Academy

4/15/2010

Krissy Heuer and Alicia Philips, employees of The Arc of Carroll County, have completed an advanced leadership program called the FACT Training Academy.

The Academy is a partnership between Carroll Community College and the Developmental Disabilities Administration to provide increased awareness within the developmental disabilities industry and to enhance management and leaderhsip skills of individual leaders within the four Carroll County non-profit organizations that provide services to adults with developmental disabilities: Flying Colors of Success, The Arc, Change Inc., and Target Community and Educational Services, Inc.  The FACT acronym is derived from each of these organizations.

The graduation ceremony was held on April 15.  In the photo:  left to right:  Krissy Heuer, The Arc of Carroll County; Kathy Menasche, Carroll Community College; Karen Post, Developmental Disabilities Administration Western Maryland Regional Office Director; Don Rowe, The Arc of Carroll County Executive Director; Alicia Philips, The Arc of Carroll County.
