Julie O’Marra of Eldersburg was awarded first place at an art show hosted by Brightview Westminster Ridge independent and assisted living retirement community in Westminster. The annual art show was held May 1 and 2, and featured art from residents, staff and the community. O’Marra’s piece entitled “Mountain Village” received first place in the community art division, which included more than 30 pieces. O’Marra was one of several artists from The Arc of Carroll County who had work featured in the exhibit.
