56, of Taneytown Adrienne Ann "Annie" Breighner, 56, of Taneytown, died Friday morning, Oct. 23, 2009, at home. Born June 2, 1953, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph and Jennie Matthews Breighner. She was in the day program at the Arc of Carroll County and enjoyed watching football. Surviving are sister and brother-in-law Carole J. and Joseph Kraus, of Gettysburg, Pa.; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert M. and Carol Breighner, of Jefferson, Pa., David S. and Marcia Breighner, of Rosedale; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends at the Arc. She was predeceased by her brothers, Francis J. and J. Daniel Breighner; and a sister, Mary E. Henry. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, where a Christian wake service will be held at 8:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with Monsignor Arthur F. Valenzano as celebrant. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Arc of Carroll County, 180 Kriders Church Road, Westminster, MD 21158.
